Gaelic Gala ~ Save the Date March 7th!
Gaelic Gala invitations are in the vestibule. Please stop and pick yours up at any of the weekend masses. Instead of honoring a Celtic Cross recipient, this year we will be celebrating Holy Cross' 95 years as a parish! Come celebrate this important milestone with us at our Gaelic Gala March 7th.
Windows of Grace Book Order Form
Our Holy Cross Windows of Grace book was featured in the August 8th Catholic Voice. We are so excited! If you haven't ordered your book yet, it's not too late. You may purchase the book at the rectory during office hours, in the HOPE room after weekend masses, or use this order form. It is truly a stunning book about the beautiful stain glass windows here at Holy Cross.

Holy Cross Church, located in the heart of Omaha's largest Irish community, has long been known for its rich Irish tradition. In 1986, Monsignor Edward O'Donnell instituted the annual, city-wide St. Patrick's Day Mass. The Mass has always been preceded with a sing-a-long of Irish music, led by the Holy Cross choir.
People from all around the city attended, wearing green outfits and decorated hats. It is a tradition that is in existence today, sans the head gear. Also, to reflect our Irish heritage, Holy Cross Catholic Church has transformed their annual church festival into the Holy Cross Irish Festival.
