All of us are familiar with the following scripture passage…‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brethren of mine, you did for me.’
During the month of September, the Holy Cross St. Vincent DePaul Society held its annual winter coat and winter accessory collection drive here at Holy Cross parish. The results were remarkable. We collected approximately 300 winter coats as well as a countless number of winter accessories (gloves, mittens, scarves, etc.). In addition, we collected nearly $500 in monetary donations. As the result of your kindness and generosity, many area adults and children will be in a position to stay warm this upcoming winter.
