St VdPaul Coat Drive Drop Off
The Holy Cross chapters of St. Vincent de Paul and Knights of Columbus
are working together to support this initiative during the month of September.
Donations can be brought to the vestibule of the church. Items needed are coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens and should be in good condition. We’ll also be happy to accept any monetary donations! Members of both organizations will be at the back of the church to assist you. These drives will take place throughout Omaha at each participating parish.
The coats and accessories collected will be donated to those in need and distributed on October 5th at Centro Pastoral Tepeyac (located at 5301 South 36th Street) and on October 19th at the Omaha Home for Boys (4343 North 52nd Street). Doors will open at each location at 8:00 AM and close at 1:00pm.
Holy Cross parishioners have been very generous over the years. Many of our Omaha and surrounding area neighbors count on this annual event to provide their families with clothing they need to get through the cold Nebraska winters. Please take a few moments to go through your closets, find any winter coats and accessories that are in good condition (and you no longer use), and bring them to church on one of the weekends above.
If you have a donation you would like to make but can’t get it to church,
please call the rectory and we’ll arrange a pickup.
